Daniel Paul is a 36 CFR Part 61 Federally Qualified architectural historian with nearly 30 years’ experience in historic preservation and over 15 years’ experience in built environment regulatory compliance at all government levels. Daniel has taught college-level architectural history courses for nearly twenty years. In 2024 he became the instructor of recent past historic preservation for the National Preservation Institute. His 2004 master’s thesis (Art History, Magna Cum Laude, California State University Northridge) was one of the first historic overviews 1970s-era Late-Modern mirror glass architecture, as seen at office parks across the Western world.
